Service Operations Management Forum

When: Thursday 19 January, 2017 - 09:00 to Friday 20 January, 2017 - 17:00

Where: CBS

In January 2017, the CBS research project ‘Driving Competitiveness Through Servitization’ will host the 9th Service Operations Management Forum.

On January 19-20, 2017, academics, practitioners, and doctoral students will participate in the 9th Service Operations Management Forum (the SOM Forum). The SOM Forum is a joint EurOMA and EURAM initiative, supported by the CBS Competitiveness Platform and the CBS research project, ‘Driving Competitiveness Through Servitization’ (read more).

The SOM Forum is an event focusing on servitization, the process by which a company moves towards the provision of services and solutions. The Forum is a unique opportunity to learn more about servitization and to meet other participants who have set out on the servitization journey, as well as those actively involved in its research.

The Forum builds upon both the newest research within servitization and experiences of those in business. This combination of research and real-life experience will provide interesting and valuable insights into servitization, its benefits and the challenges it poses.

The aim of the SOM Forum is to create an enriched opportunity for participants to debate, as well as to share knowledge of, and experiences, in servitization. Topics for the Forum will include, but will not be limited to:

– The role and impact of digitalization
– Big data analytics
– Change management
– Operations Strategies

Registration for the Forum has now closed, but for those interested in learning more about the CBS Competitiveness Platform or the CBS Servitization project, please email servitization@cbs.dk and we will do our best to assist!
