1922

Handelshøjskolen becomes a separate institution

In 1922, the institution changes its name from Købmandsskolens Handelshøjskoleafdeling to Handelshøjskolen i København.

Handelshøjskolen becomes a separate institution, independent of the Copenhagen School of Commerce (Købmandsskolen). The school, owned and operated by the Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education, is no longer legally and financially tied to the Copenhagen School of Commerce. It is now named Handelshøjskolen and is given its own library.
