Handelshøjskolen adds the designation ‘Copenhagen Business School’

In 1988, Handelshøjskolen broadens its international reach with the English addition ‘Copenhagen Business School’.

Finn Junge-Jensen fulfils some of his ambitions for Handelshøjskolen with the inauguration of the new business languages faculty building at Dalgas Have, designed by Henning Larsen Architects. In the same year Handelshøjskolen increases its international profile, officially determining the English names of faculties and the school. Rector Junge-Jensen is a keen advocate of the project. Taking its cue from American institutions, the school adds its present name, Copenhagen Business School; however, the name Handelshøjskolen still ranks before the English name.
